Scenes From Old Town- This is the confederate war monument that is at Prince and S Washington Street in Alexandria. The local lore says that he stands facing south with his head lowered in respect for those lost in battle, and also placing his back to the north.

I used a light painting technique on this photo to light up the statue during a 30 second exposure.
